Westin makes a nice product
I just installed a set of Westin nerf bars, part number 25-1245.
They came via UPS, and even though the box was partially open
none of the hardware was missing thanks to Westin putting it
all in plastic bags, and packaging it in a cardboard box inside the
shipping box. The bars themselves are wrapped in plastic and
have cardboard keepers to prevent banging around during
shipment. There was not a single chip on anything.
Installation was straightforward, and I was able to easily do the
install by myself. The only thing about the install was the need to
drill a starter hole for each support bracket, in leu of the directions
claiming the bolts supplied were "self-tapping", maybe into
plastic but not the sheet stell cab mount support!
Each end of the bar bolts to a support bracket, heavy steel that
is black power-coated. The bracket is then bolted to one of the
cab-to-frame mounts, and Westin supplies a longer bolt in the kit
for this as well.
I took some digital pictures and uploaded them to the Readers' Rigs site.
