Best Software/scanner for monitoring engine?

I'm looking for opinions on monitoring software for the 03 Ram.

I have a good laptop and was hoping to get access to engine

information and codes. My truck is has a 48RE and I've been told that I actually have two computers, where the manuals have only the Cummins computer?

Thanks for the info. I think I saw this one a few months back

on a different website. Although this one is presented far better

than the last website. Looks pretty good and cheap!

I may try it--have you used any of them at all?

Hey Jeff,

No I haven't- I use a Snap-On Scanner for Gas engine work that I do and it has a Generic OBDII function that will read data and clear codes on my CTD.

ScanTool.net (the link above) only works with a PC/laptop, about $80 depending on how many connections you need.
