Airstream/Cummins MH

I have an 06 2500 4x4 with afe intake and filter and mbrp exhaust. I also have a set of air bags with an onboard compresor. I am purchasing a 33' warrior fithwheel with a gvwr of 15000#'s. I am looking in to some sort of programer but have no idea which way to go. I will use the trailer 3 or 4 times a month in So Cal. Also would any transmission mods be in order? Any help would be great.

Absolute first mod is gages;) If you are going to power up your hp and tq, then the next mod is the drive-train, that being the transmission, to take the additional tq. Then move on to a smarty or and edge product.

Establish you base line performance first before you spend large dollars on power. You want to build for reliability first and formost. When I tow, I stay in stock mode with nothing dialed up. Why I do this is this is where I get my best mileage and performance for towing. If I need to power up I can then switch on, but have to watch my EGT's close. In stock mode the EMC will not let me overtemp the motor when towing.

Food for thought;)
