Do you want a real simple way to wire the lights. Geno's Garge sells an adapter that plugs into the seven pin trailer connector. This provides a wiring harness that will have connector on it to plug-in optional lighting. This will actuate the lights when you put the truck into reverse just like a trailer. Simple easy to use and no extra wiring is needed.

I used this to actuate my White Knight back up lights that Geno's Garage use to sell. No mess and easy to install.
