Used Truck Camper in the Pacific Northwest?

We've been to the Waldport KOA quite a few time with our 30ft 5er. If you ask for a spot with a view then you get a spot where you are backed up to Alsea Bay. Since we have a rear window its nice to sit back and look at the bay,Waldport on the otherside and the bridge which is lit up at night. We also spend a lot of time at the Devils Lake RV Park on the north side of Lincoln City. It has large pull through sites and is close to the Chinook Winds Casino. Check out the Astoria/Seaside KOA as well. I havent been there but Ive heard its a great spot.

South Beach State Park just below Newport is a favorite of ours. Really big park and it is well kept. Short walk to the beach. About 30 miles south of the Lincoln City casino if you like to gamble. :)

Oregon Coast camping

IMHO - It depends on what you call good and bad and most camp sites have both. As for the location, it depends on what your likes are.

At the North end you have Fort Stevens (Astoria) with lots of Military stuff to enjoy, Lincoln City (central coast) use to be known for it's kite flying festival and the South end is a little warmer.

Think of it this way - The worst day at the beach is still better then the best day at work;)

Oh - Some of the state campgrounds can be a little tight so don't tell them your 40' long when it's really 42'
