Blower motor noise

SO i have just under 29k on my ram. now that winter is here, i am using my heater (fan) more. most of the time i have no problems, but as of late i get a growl that goes away after a few min, or if i cycle the fan. im taking it in to the dealer on monday, but. is it easy to replace if i had to do it? i now its not the blend door of death issue, but has anyone else had issues with the Blower motors?

My friend also has an 06 with 40,000 miles. Just noticed today that when he puts his fan on high it vibrates the entire dashboard. Probably a bad motor bearing or fan. We're taking it apart this weekend. Sorry no help but just had to mention reading your thread.

mine was making some awful noise and vibes so i could not run it past speed 2. i pulled the fan and found pieces of the recirculation door in the blower cage. . well, out came the piece, and i reached up and yanked out the broken rec. door too. then pulled out the glove box and squeezed in some foam sheet i had between the dash and the rec. door opening. now everything works ok for me. i don't know why the recirculation door broke??? i have never used the recirculation mode [unless defrost mode actuates it... ?]

well it turned out to be just the motor! yay me!
