Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Boost elbow + banks big head wastegate=?

Has anybody uses a banks big head wastegate with a boost elbow, or is this a good idea? I think both items do the same thing.

You are correct. They each accomplish the same thing, just in different ways. I would not use them together.
