Will raising the boost pressure reduce or contain EGT's? new injectors gave me more power but stock boost went up 3 psi and EGT's went to 1250-1300 at max load.

if I raise the boost pressure to 26-28 psi what will happen?

It is a stock turbo, new that Dodge just installed about 1000 miles ago.

From my experientation, it just really depends and there seems to be alot of variables.

If you are more interested, READ some of this. From what I could figure out, if you can use more air it helps. If not, it don't.

if it the stock turbo then it is the hy? Mine has been on a down hill slide lately and I just found a hx-35 from a manual that should be good for 40 psi or so. The hy is too restrictive get rid of it!

An HX 35 should be wastegated to no more than about 35 psi. Above that it over heats the charge air & defeats the purpose.
