And she feels alot better, steering wise. Install wasn't too bad, just a couple goofups, like when I ground me a flat for the set screw- when It should have been about 90 degrees the other way:{ All in all I am happy with it, quality is very nice. I used the new rag joint, but the old hardware, because there was no instructions for it. I could have used the new, but wasn't sure how it went on.

Glad to hear it went well. I am installing one tonight ... along with new calipers, rotors and carbon metallic disk pads.

About how long did it take to install?

Yeah I have had one on for about a year now and I love it. If you still have play you can take most of it out with the slack adjustment on the pump. Once I did that it really tightend things up. Feels like new.

I put mine on the day after Piers. Maybe I should say my boy put it on. We did it at his place before I headed back home. Took about 40 minutes. He put one on his truck a few months back so he knew what to do. Did it with the tire on. The steering wheel came out perfect. He used a small 4" grinder to make the flat. I also used the old hardware. I think the new hardware is for some other application.



The old joint didn't feel that loose but I was getting about 1-1/4" of play. The new join took all the play out. Glad I put it on and the price from Piers was great!

Those were some pretty sweet deals he was offering at the 1st gen day, weren't they? Oo. Just wish I would have had some spare change. I like that flexplate! Now that I'm up around 300RWHP, I'm real nervous about that!!!
