Just finished putting on the Borgeson and have to ask what others thought of the little set screw that holds that thing in there??? To be honest I was/am a little concerned that all that is holding that shaft in there is a set screw with a nut!!!!!!!! The instructions state to retighten after 100 miles or so.

Looking for some reassurance... ... ... ...

i also just put it on i am not to worried about it

i am sure it has been well tested due to the massive

libility they have ... . not to say i wont keep an eye on it

the instructions state you can use loctite as well , that would

not be a bad idea

If you are concerned and or you didn't already, then clean up the set screw and it's hole then use some loctite on it... . I did that on mine and never had a days problem with backing off or stuff like that... :D:D:D

pb...

A local member installed one. It wasn't too long that the set screw backed off. The shaft would flop around on the gear box stub shaft but wouldn't fall off. I told him he needs to tighten that along with a dab of lock-tite.

Thanks

Thanks Guys... ... ... ... ..... I followed the instructions, used loctite. I just wanted to know if others had issues.

Thanks again.
