I have looked in the archives and can not find the size for the 07. Went to change mine and found out I don't have the size what ever it is, it is a very different size. Any help would be welcome. 53000 is pretty good on original front brakes , for me anyway. what is every one else getting. hope fully its not a special order tool. Thanks Dan

Last time I did mine on my 2000 it looked like a reverse torx. . what it was, is a 16 mm 12 point. . so I don't know about our new trucks. . haven't looked at mine but that is what it might be.

On my 2006 Megacab 2500 it is a 18mm socket. The one metric size I didn't have. It was the same size as the 4 hub bearing bolts.

Thanks for the replies, The 18 mm size was the right one, from nutter3 I also did not have that size in the tool box but now I do. You do need a big bar as they are tight. What worked good for me was to take the clamp on the brake hose that holds it to the frame off , this gives you an extra foot of hose, then get a box about a foot high and put a short length of wood on it and you have a little bench to set it on, no more trying to work with ties or wire to hold it up, I also had to remove the two 13 mm bolts that hold the thing together to get the pads out, something new I guess, First one took 2 hours second one in 25 min. that's taking the wheel on and off and doing the work, so there is a learning curve What ever have a good day and Thank You all Dan
