Brake Control pigtail

Does anyone know if the pigtail is available as a separate item? I'm talking about the thing that I would splice into the Jordan brake control wires (that I should be receiving real soon now) that has a connector on it that will plug into the connector under the dash.



I called the DC parts dep't and they say it's only available as part of a kit - don't know what all the kit contains but it costs $71. 00. :--)



For that kind of money I think I'll just got to Radio Shack and see if I can find a 4-wire connector and replace the one that's in the truck.

Yes they make one. I got one at a local truck accessory shop for about $15.

You can get the brake controller pigtail at just about any trailer hitch dealer or from Camping World as well.

I usually just buy the pigtail from the local U-Haul dealer. They have them for Chevy, Ford, and Dodge. They're $5. 95 I believe. I've purchased 3 of them over the last couple of years for different vehicles and they work great...
