I got an email from BrakeSmart about my question (they have been watching us). Here is their response:
Hello Ken,
I have noticed a couple of your posts at the Turbo Diesel Registry Forum site and thought I would give you some input concerning the hose for the sensor installation. It is not absolutely necessary to use the hose. The main reason the hose is included is to make room for the sensor install. After installing the tee into the master cylinder the angle of the sensor port may be at an awkward angle in relation to other components in the engine compartment. If this turns out to be the case, the hose allows for more room with a remote installation of the sensor. If you do not use the hose, bleeding the volume of the tee is still necessary. That will not be much. I have found it easier to install and bleed using the hose for Dodge, Ford, And Chevrolet. The Ford is basically a "must do" because of air cleaner interference. The new Chevrolet/GMC trucks have lots of room for the sensor install and sensor harness route. The Dodge sensor install (the one that matters) is somewhere in the middle. I have seen nstalls both with and without on earlier model Dodges. All of the 04 installs have used the hose. Also, instructing to use the hose helps keep installation "uniform" across all makes and models.
I want to thank you once again for your business and I hope you do not find this email an intrusion. Please do not hesitate to ontact me if you have any questions, comments or suggestions.
Sincerely,
Steve Guidry

I also asked about the Boost/EGT option. Here is the response:
Unfortunately, I cannot give you a definite answer to your question. I feel that it's still going to be several weeks before the product is ready to go. We're spending a lot of time getting the best possible installation for all models put together.
