Hi, I just did the brake fluid flush. I've been wanting to do that for the past year, but finally did it. I changed my front brake pads as well- they were thin (about 1/8" left on the pads). Rotors were very smooth, so I left those alone.

I can't believe how easy the flush was using a Motive bleeder. It's a one man easy job. I'm so glad I bought it. I bought it a year ago almost, but just had my first chance to use it. So nice. The old fluid was not very clean, it was a bit darker then the new one. It has been about 2 years since the last flush as I remember it.

I bought the brake fluid from Geno's- the AP 5. 1 fluid. Supposed to be really good, so I tried it. Anyone here tried it? How do you like it?

For front pads I used Bendix TitaniuMetallic pads. Those were recommended to me as being an excellent pads. I'll report on those when I get some miles on them.

It went smooth, but I took my time.

I was on a quest to find a good brake pads, let's see if it's a success:)

The Motive bleeder is awesome! I bought one last year to do my truck and it was so easy that I went ahead and did my car and the wife's Liberty CRD. I used Valvoline synthetic. I have to say, I did notice a positive difference in the brake pedal feel after flushing the system.
