I have had this problem for as long as I have had the truck, but never really worried about it. When I push on the Brake Pedal it comes all of the way back up to the top, but when you look at the brake lights they stay on for about 5-10 seconds after I let my foot off the pedal. Also the the pedal feels a little "mushy". What could this be? Master Cylinder? Rear Brakes?

not sure if it related to the mushy feeling, but have you checked the brake light switch? Maybe it is sticking. It is under the dash/knee panel and is pressed on by the arm of the brake pedal. It is a box about 2x2inch and has a plunger on it, which is white on mine. May be worth a look.

Well I still have this problem... I have tracked it down to the fact that it is steering related. If I turn the steering wheel the brakes/brake lights will come on. Is this Hydroboost related?

Considering that to this day is I gently brake while turning in a highway ramp I can feel a tug in the wheel—I'd say its Hydroboost related. The system is designed like a tractor with "power Beyond" the priority is stop then steer (Brakes get boost first).

Yes that I understand what I don't understand is sitting in the driveway, foot under brake pedal, turn wheel, feel brake pedal go down?
