Brake pedal doesn't return.

Brakes on my 2004.5 3500 act like no booster pressure, pedal goes close to the floor and is slow to return. I do have brakes but you really have to push hard on the pedal, fluid level is fine, didn't find any leaks.

The hydroboost runs off your power steering. Does the power steering feel fine? Check the PS fluid.

Sure sounds like a hydroboost problem.

And before you run and order, first check what the problem actually is.

Powe steering okay, fluid needed topped off minimal amount, it's coming back to the booster, shopping for a reman or new after market now.

Double check the return hose from the booster isn't kinked or clogged. Any restriction on the return including a badly placed inline filter can cause this.

Also check the pedal bushings and pin.
