If I depress the brake pedal, let up, and then depress it again very soon, it will sometimes go hard.

So, I tried the tests to verify the booster, and it passed.

I'm wondering if the booster check ball is bad?

Is it possible this symptom would be a bad booster valve?

This is not to be confused with my other post about the vacuum pump check ball; I am looking to replace all vacuum lines and that question will help me with the vacuum pump.

Thank you for any help you can give,

KRS

Could be the check valve. There was a recall on some of the 2nd gen check valves. In any case, they are cheap and take about a minute to replace.
