Well that tells you all you need to know. ;)

That said, the Phillips Xtreme Vision 9007 are an excellent alternative…noticeably brighter and longer lasting then ANY other alternative that I have tried in all my vehicles.

Its your truck so obviously you should use whatever bulb you want, or even better whatever bulb Daniel Stern is now recommending, but Ive been running the Phillips Xtreme Vision 9007 in my truck ever since I learned about them, and Ill put my googlefu up against your googlefu any day of the week ;)

I can find them too , But why doesnt Philips show/list them on their web site

Stern recommends you buy bulbs from him because he has " "the secret stash" unavailable to the public Sylvania bulbs"

Here is his email quote to me :
The best 9004 and 9007 bulbs presently on the market are ultra high
luminance items _without_ any blue tint on the bulb glass. They're an
uncatalogued item made by Osram-Sylvania/Vosla, considerably better for
intensity and beam focus than any of the parts store items. These are
$25.45/ea, and I have them in stock.

Oh Wow :D:D What ever that means LOL!

How many years do the Philips xtreme vision last before burning out?

Maybe Ill try 'em in my new sport headlights in my '99 CTD.... Im finding alot of good comments on them Philips Xtremes on internet-land

Mine had been there for two years when I sold it. The Sylvania’s were only lasting about six months.

Glad to know that. DS hasn’t steered me wrong in 25-years.

Philips mid priced bulbs from Walmart work for me, seem to last longer than the old Silverstars that kept burning out every year.
