2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Broken rear leaf spring mount!!!!!!!!!!!

So the rear mount of the leaf springs on the passenger side of my 2500 (with towing/camper option) rotted out. The rear of the leaf spring is now resting on the underside of the truck bed.

My mechanic made some calls and apparently these parts are not made (i.e. no longer available).

Is there an aftermarket solution or is he going to need to fabricate something?

Sounds like you just need a shackle, not the spring hanger itself. Shackles are readily available. There is a thread here, I'll find it for you.

LMCTRUCK.com does list both the rear spring hanger and the shackle for 1994-02 Ram 2500's in their 2015 Spring catalog. Those parts are available for both the 2-1/2" and 3" wide leaf springs.

I think Dodge still has the shackles, probably the tech asked for the hanger.
