Bully dog GT

is any one running a bully dog GT on a 6. 7? I am look at getting one for my truck or the Edge CST. I am checking to see if any one has good or bad exsperance with ether one. the input is appreciated

I think i am going to pull the triger on the GT. After some resech i think it is the beter unit. The GT is a much easre install and it uses the factory probs in the exsost. I will post what i think of it after i get it.

I have been using the Bully Dog Triple Dog on my 5. 9 for about 4 years now. I think it is great, made the truck run much smoother with noticeable power gains. Easily installed and removed by plugging into the OBD port, can also change power modes with it. I did not gain any noticeable mileage improvement, but with the increased power I did not lose any mpg either.

I think Bully Dog does a lot of research and puts out a fine product. When I had questions, their tech people seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. Check their website for a dealer near you that can give you the "try before you buy" temporary upload. I think you will be very impressed. Let us know what you do and how it goes.

Since the OP is in Canada, does our northern neighbor have a different setup for emissions, etc?

Sorry guys i have bean away and busy with work. i have it install and hole sh-- it work grate. I drive it in the tow mode and it has lowered the rpm by 300 when doing 100kmh (60 mph). I have only briefly driven it in the exstrem mode it will chirp the tires when swiching from 1st - 2nd ( I'm running 35 on 20" rims). As far I know the emissions are the same and they are testing up here. The only other thing that i have done is a S&B clod air intake. The driving coach is relay neat. So far it is well worth the money and NO codes!

Glad your happy with it.

There is no change in the emissions between US and Canadian sold GTs.

you will get the best fuel mileage if you run in "performance".

Spell check is your friend. read back what you posted. An English teacher would give you a "F". I can understand a word miss-spelled sometimes but it seems like this is a new type of shorthand? . . Extreme is the mode. . not exstrem. . I consciously try to spell words right when i text or E-mail. I have a 10yr old 2nd cousin that spells like this but she is 10. . so... Thats it. . just pointing it out. .

How does a programmer lower rpm at any given speed? Or did you mean egt's?

SORRY!!! For the spelling mistake I'm not perfect. I must have not checked it. I have seen much worse on this forum like Ford misspelled repeatedly. I will try not to let it happen again.

I am going to assume you have an auto trans, fill out your sig, it's easier to help you.



Maybe your torque converter was not locking up at 60mph before the download? Now it is locking earlier, that's good, also allows better mpg.

Jason i am seeing 13-13. 5 with regular city driving loaded. I have a tendance to have a lead foot. I do need to fill out my sig. It is a auto though. I am going to try to go to the ontario fall dyno day. If I get there I will let you know what the # are.
