Hi All,
It seems like there are now more than a few people running the new Bully Dog Injectors and are real happy with the performance.

Does anyone have any Dyno #'s to share regarding the new injectors?

I installed my Bully Dog stage III's, however it is snowing here so I can't give you a seat of the pants report yet. Hopefully by the end of the week. Definitely brings the Cummins to life.

Thanks My6,
That sounds great. Did HVAC do any testing on the other Bully Dog injectors too?

How were they in comparison to DD3's?
Smoke???

Please chime in here HVAC. Your input would be appreciated.

Thanks Everyone.

I kept quiet for a few weeks till I had some seat time with the Bully Dog step 4's. . I have no dyno runs but I can tell you that the are much stronger than my old DD stage 3's(A)... Bully Dog service was 2nd to none... JB

That sounds great JB.

How do they perform compared to the DD3's. More power where, in lower rpm range, higher rpm range, or all around? And how does the smoke compare?

These Bully Dog Injectors sound great.

Hey there wwcd2, I checked the posts relating to these injectors at your website. On one of the posts you listed the step 4's as being "for the serious horsepower enthusiast only". Well, I will likely go as far as injectors, fueling and boost modules, 4" exhaust, Psychotty and new clutch eventually. I don't plan on getting into propane or nitrous, etc. . I think I'd like to end up at something like 400 rear wheel HP, maybe 800 - 900 #'s torque. Just a guess at this point, as I am totally stock so far, and haven't had the chance to ride with anyone who is already making these BOMBed HP/trq numbers to tell if I really want to go that far #ad

So, based on this fairly weak plan of mine, what would you, or anyone think - Bully Dog step 3's or 4's for me?? I figure when I do each BOMB, I want to go as far as I think I'll realistically ever want to go with that particular BOMB.

Thanks,
Tom

Alright guys, I finally found a Dyno in Spokane.

My 99 ETC is rated at 235 HP at the flywheel and loose 20% (47 HP)from flywheel to rear wheels, mean that I had 188 to the rear wheels. Today I Dynoed at 293. 1 HP and 579 ft/lbs of torque on a new Dyno Jet. That means I gained just over 105 HP with Bully Dog III's.

Great strong numbers Bob. Looks like you're in line with what Bullydog claims from the injectors. Now we (and Rob Hanson) just need to get some new clutches so we can see what our trucks can do with our boxes on. I'm interested in our what our results will be because all three rigs have different setups:
Big Bob, step III and hot Power Edge
Rob Hanson, stage III and 3-wire Blue Box
MikeR, stage II and std 10-level Powermax3

Too bad you didn't have the stock numbers to be able to compare. We have seen posts of people with up to 225hp/440ft-lbs in stock trim. Just wonderin' where your truck was to start with.

Alright guys,

I did run a complete Dyno at all levels, was just a little hesitant about posting them. But what the heck! The HORSEPOWER race is on. Being I am letting this out of the bag, I might have to pull a few new tricks out of the bag before April. Here is the post on my Dyno numbers;

And I still need a clutch, I am surprised it held!<font color=blue><font size=-2>

No numbers with the stock injectors though. #ad
Oh well. Hey, also, since they are a new dyno owner, you should tell them to use the SAE correction factor, not STD. STD is something they use in Europe, and it inflates the numbers a bit more than SAE. Pretty much everyone in the States uses SAE (unless they are trying to inflate the numbers).
