I have been running this combo for a while now. Anyone else running it? Any dyno numbers? The adjustablility is pretty sweet, helps with tuning when stacking boxes. I have the downloader on performance haven't tried extreme yet. The new program on the Ramifier has come along way since the first one I had been running. Just curious if anyone else has tried this combo.

Sick Ram,

Rail pressure does not reach the factory max specs of the Bosch Pump. We reprogram the factory fuel map and add injection timing through the MAP sensor by rewriting the Boost map and giving the Boost map a higher value. This is different from the industry standard pressure box that uses resistors to add power, by using our method you can add power through out the entire powerband of the truck. This is why we have seen such great results in stacking with the TST and the BDDL.

Dennis-

I have one of the older non adjustable ramifiers that needs to be re programmed. Anywhere in nothern Cal that can do it or do I have to send it in. Also, what about stacking with a Van Aaken Smartbox?

DieselNut,

You will need to send the box into us for reprogramming. Go to our website at www.tsperformance.com Go to the contuct us page and fill out the return/ reprogram form and include it in the box that you return it in. If you will make a note on the form that you would like to make it adjustable we can take care of that for you also.

KwikSpool,

Joe is a distributor of TS Performance in Michigan. He does also do the IDM mod.

Hey Dennis,

Thanks for sharing that info, I think more than a fair share would like to know what is happening under their hood as they tinker with their spendy toys so its refreshing to see you open about this info. On that note would you be willing to divulge what % is from pressure and timing?

I just started running the stack today. The Ramifier was great by its self but now it is really too much. Did I just say that? Just kidding there is no such thing as too much. :-laf And it is nice to still be able to adjust the power in cab with the Ramifer. I am downloaded on performance setting. All I can say is Oo. :-laf :D Oo.

Downloader + Ramifier

What EGTs do you get with this combination? Have you done anything else to reduce EGTs like replacing the exhaust or changing the turbo? I have the Downloader and in Performance mode I haven't had occasion to push it long enough to see EGT above 1200° or 1250°. In Extreme mode, I had to back off a few times to stay below 1300°.

I started out in Extreme, but last fall when it started snowing I though Performance was more reasonable. Weather is starting to warm up to extreme mode. Stacking a box like the Ramifier should make things interesting again.

EGT's are quick to 1350 with the stack when you have the Ramifier turned way up. Still controlable though. You can always tune it down a little to make things cooler. You definetly need to keep an eye on your gauges. But it is no differrent than anything else the more power you add the hotter it is going to get. No problem in 1-4 but I can't use all of the power in 5 or 6 yet as my clutch won't allow it. I have an AFE intake with torque tube and 4" exhaust. Extreme setting has awesome power. I will experiment more in the next week or so.

From what I have read the BDDL in tow mode is timing/duration only. In performance mode it adds some pressure. In extreme it adds more pressure. Currently I am back to performance and Ramifier about half with some full power runs. I will do more when I can get a clutch. Hopefully that will be soon. The BDDL on performance was not that impressive by itself. It is pretty impressive on extreme though with just a little lag on bottom. When you add the Ramifier you get nice even power from bottom to top. The BDDL on extreme and Ramifier on more than half may be a little much except for dyno day or the occasional race.

Seems BDDL in tow mode and Ramifier turned up to what ever is comfortable would be good, that way only one box is doing pressure and the other with duration is helping to lower rail pressures.
