So has anyone seen the EDGE TRUCK running around?

The storie up hear is that it was sold? Is that the word every where else?

I also Saw a pic. of what supposedly is MadDogs Ford Lightning?

Looks like it has a ways to go or it was a really old pic.

Whats the word every where esle?

Any other cool trucks being built?

Word is they have mothballed the Wolvorine... ... ... probably due to not meeting the expectations of all the engineers and private contractor(s) that have put time vested into that operation... ... ... ... .....

I really hope Edge has just gone under wraps until they get it more solid. It would be a shame for a big company in this industry get this close and not finish it. But, I guess it's not my money either. :p

Fletcher has a tube chassis Dakota (like Comps) that should be fun to watch.

Richard said he would be here in Atlanta with the Lightning unless disaster struck, so I'd say he is either finished and in testing, or close to it.

Oo.

Man thats pretty deep stuff. You have to read it several times before your Zen can bring it to it's core. :)

I don't have a zen so I ain't zot a clue what Bill said. But I does think ifen we gets close enouf, we'll see it. :{ Love and understanding?... ... ... ... . I'm just bubbling over with it. :D

It is possible that Edge's truck was just for publicity at SEMA. I know several guys from Alaska who said it was quite a looker. It may have served its purpose...

I looked it over pretty well at SEMA (as much as they would allow). Seems to me the driver was there with the truck answering questions.

Has Comp Retired his ride? I dont know of it running this year..... Has he mothballed his program too?

I’m still here already run two NHRA races and working on the next motor program for my truck , not coming out to just run until it has the power it takes to run way ahead of the pack. Waiting on new rockers and other valve train components . but rest assured it is still the fastest and will lower the time when everything is ready.

I looked it over really good , both over, under and most ever part. and the craftsmanship was second to none was a pretty show truck. But the fact was it was a 12 valve , the pistons were done at Gale Banks engineering . saw the master and it was Ross 12 valve. Where they went wrong was not listen to the experts in the field . the chassis was built to their directions and not the recommendations of the Jerry Bickle. They believer in the ideal that the Cummins engine made so much torque that everything had to be double heavy and stiff. This lead to a almost 4000 lbs truck and placed it out of contention no mater how much power they believed could be made. The DHRA dragster is a nice piece also, while both mine and Scott Bentz cars look race cars with a little battle damage for at track thrashes .

I found this on the net about Edge:

Edge Products

Location: Ogden, Utah

Total Growth: 2,937%

2003 Revenue: $9. 6 million

Employees: 62

Maybe they are too busy making $$$ to worry about racing??? I know you got to sell lots of boxes to get 9. 6 mil.

I did see on there website that they now have a Jeep Gasser setup and the A2 thing with a Juice with attitude + GPS + backup camera coming soon+ digital gauges etc.

Why race when you don't need to. I think I just figured out why Banks is doing all those fancy diesel racers and the Dr. is sponsoing COMP, they are loosing market share and need attention.

Well, a lot of folks race for the fun of it. Just plan enjoyment. Then some race to promote a product of theirs. Then some want to race in the electronic world and just ain't caught up yet, and are embarrassed to show. For the time being, a P pump has not been beaten. Edge would have to eat crow to race a P-pump in the box world. Kinda like Greg having to have his engine built, instead of building it himself, after all he's said on here.

Thats what I think.

My passion! So, w/ a 3% global economy growth pearled by the aerospace 5% commercial and 6. 5 freight growth, those DOW EPS-P/E's in those related industries are looking sweet, I can make enought to finally chip my truck. yeehaww!!!!!! :-laf

Fletch, with the gross domestic product of emerging markets being what it is now, you may see a 7-8% growth in small mid-cap residual fund annuities. If so, we are likely to see a jump in durable goods and housing starts which will allow you to get a tuner and laptop for your truck as well... ... Oo. Oo.

So, I understand, did the Market delineation reflect the infestation of the “Black Bearded Beetle” (BBB) and the affects on our lumber stocks, I got some wood Tues. night however; I started speaking so, prospective gains quickly tampered off. :-laf

If the downward trend of lumber continues, we are likely to see what is known in many circles as "the crisis of the morning wood. " Basically means that wood futures trade much higher and more rapidly in the morning as opposed to the afternoon, causing stocks in Phizer to rise towards the closing bell..... :-laf :-laf
