I see these truck's all the time(including mine), with the gray plastic that tuck's under the top black, hanging out on the corner's. Does anybody have a good fix to keep it from popping out. Liquid nail's, caulk, anything strong and long lasting. I think the tab's break. Any idea's:confused:

I haven't done it myself, but a firend told me that he bought some carriage bolts andused some existing holes in the steel bumper to reattach the plastic. Looked clean from a distance!

I used carriage bolts. The original plastic clips breakto easy. You will need big washers to fill the gaps.

So, you drilled through the gray plastic?
I don't see any other way to use bolts to hold the plastic covering onto the metal bumper.

Thats right. It leaves the head of the carriage bolt showing. I have both the black and gray plastic held on this way. It is not a great picture but you can see a few of the bolts in my readers rigs

I did this today. Stainless steel screws gong into the plastic inserts in the bumper. Be careful to push the insert up so that the screws will go through the hole or you will get pic #2
