Question, are you ignorant, or just pretending to be?

1. Who says I don't have part of my money on the race? Yeah, I got some backing and we can go a lot higher (have done so in the past), but so what? That's called street racing. You think I should risk my life for free for the interest of embellishing your plain, boring life? Ha, entertainment costs money.

2. Top secret location? Homer, so you think its better for me to do this on the Interstate 15 during rush hour? Let's even get better, how about down Flamingo during lunch time? Yeah, that's right, we want everyone there to stand on the side of the road while going at a high rate of speed in the middle of the day. Nothing like attracting the attention of the local police while doing close to or over 200. . Does Illegal Speed Contest mean anything to you?

QUOTE]

I find you very interesting, whoever you are or pretend to be. You attack anyone that questions you. Why? Did I do something to offend you? Did I come out calling you names when we went to school and now you are trying to get me back? Or does that make you feel better? Go take your meds so you wont blow a gasket.

How boring. Please grow up and put up. You no doubt have no idea of the game. Talk is big, put up or shut up!

Really, this is this a go? Keith left a message for Garth, but hasn't heard back. Yes, its a Mass number because of a business interest we have there. If he can't afford the toll, call collect. Otherwise, we'll see you guys at you know where you when when. .

This is just too sad. It sounds like high school banter. "you know when, you know where"

What a butt mangler

Well, since the phone deal doesn't seem to be working (do you know how to check the messages all the way from Mass?), PM me with where you are "working on the car" and you can Garth can meet for a face-to-face and shake on the deal.

Like duh. . Yes, it is a microsoft program, have you ever used a newer automated dyno by chance? It provides you with an excel sheet, which you have the ability to enhance it with graphs, boxes, pie charts, etc. All data is stored captured and then you can print up any sort of view that floats your boat.

As a matter of fact, I sell these "newer automated dyno(s)" for a living, and none that I've EVER seen use Excel or any other Microsoft program (besides the operating system for the computer, obviously. ) I'm going to go on the record as saying it's my professional opinion that you are bluffing, and doing a very poor job of it.

But, there's a way for you to redeem yourself. Later this year, we'll be having "ShootOut" events at different automotive venues throughout the United States. I'd like to welcome you to compete in one of these events, and prove once and for all if you're for real or just a noisy cricket. The cost of participating is a great deal less than you're likely to burn in tires getting beat up on by the Supra boys, and there's no danger of you actually having your paint sucked off by a rouge Toyota pilot, so you'll also save the cost of having your car re-finished. So, it's a win-win situation for you. You can prove both your skill as a tuner (uhm. . . . right) and show that this car you speak so much of isn't just a wet dream.

I know for certain that a lot of these nasty little Supras will be in attendance, as will nasty Vipers, etc. I look forward to meeting as many of you guys as possible, even those of you who talk more smack than your gear can back. In the mean time, I urge you to put your put your nub on grille and see what this smackmobile can do.

P. S. Next time spend a little more time on your fake dyno graph. . . . . .

Sorry about this guys. Just trying to get a friendly race going between to supposedly fast cars. Of course, money, assistants and answering machines had to get dragged in, but all we really wanted was to have some fun.

This is Keith Jones, sitting at Tim's computer (so don't go blasting me about my kid or being a moron) . I just work here and collect a pay check:D .

Funny post guys, too bad many of you don't know what you are talking about. In any event, we haven't heard back from Garth, and there is no vmail, so we'll try him again tomorrow. In any event, we ar taking the car to the place at the prescribed time to meet Mr. Supra.

Jet Engine, obviously you don't sell wheel dynos because all the new ones including the Mustangs can opt to use Microsoft formats. Had you gone to Sema this year, you would have seen numerous new units having the option to use Excel to plot and format the information. I was the one that did the pulls the other night, and printed a quick down-and-dirty print out without all the bells and whistles which Tim posted. So for those that feel this is a excel spreadsheet, congrats, it is. It is a merge from tabled information.

Stay tuned, Sunday night is going to be interesting boys. Oh, just for you nasayers, here is the dyno unit. Hard to eat crow isn't it?

Now that his challenge has been met, I don't think we will get a response. :-laf

I myself, would love to see a 1500+ HP street Viper. I saw the dyno run for the Supra. If you could take and make a video of the Viper on a dyno, I think it might be a little more convincing. Sorry, but words come cheap. I'm not from the show-me state, but I have the same philosophy. :D

It's no more convincing than the picture of the spreadsheet with manipulated numbers

Keith, call Garth again. He's waiting for your call. He'll be up to at least 11pm Pacific.

If you are at Tim's computer in Vegas, why are you having him return your calls to Massachusetts? Give him the local number. Or give him an address and he'll come do a face-to-face and shake hands with you guys, and finalize the details.

Caveman, for a Security Guard, this must be a hard concept for you to get a grasp on. See above photos of the shop. . I did the dyno runs. You calling me a liar? I have no personal interest in any of this, but don't call me a manipulator or a liar.

This is getting old. You guys amaze me, now I see what Tim was talking about.

If someone has something better than you, you all revert to personal attacks.

Later,

Keith

Caveman, At least it would be more than what he's given so far. I agree with Gypsyman, make a video of the race and then we can see that all is as said.

Likely story.

As the world turns. . . heh. . . . gotta love this kind of drama!

Jet Engine, obviously you don't sell wheel dynos because all the new ones including the Mustangs can opt to use Microsoft formats.

Think again. Look at www.dynodynamics.com and get a feel for what I sell.

Had you gone to Sema this year,

I was at SEMA, where were you?

you would have seen numerous new units having the option to use Excel to plot and format the information.

Our data can likewise be plotted in Excel or any other spreadsheet/database program. There's no magic there. Any dyno test graph shown in Excel is highly suspect due to the ease with which such a graph can be created by somebody who's never seen a dyno, much less operated or had a car tested on one.

I was the one that did the pulls the other night, and printed a quick down-and-dirty print out without all the bells and whistles which Tim posted.

So you are the owner of this dyno, yes? No? Let's hear a little about this machine, please?

So for those that feel this is a excel spreadsheet, congrats, it is. It is a merge from tabled information.

How much does a person "pay" for a graph that looks like that? Not much, I hope!

Stay tuned, Sunday night is going to be interesting boys. Oh, just for you nasayers, here is the dyno unit. Hard to eat crow isn't it?

Keith

Who's dyno is it? Color me a naysayer. If you guys are so confident in the car, I trust I can bank on your attendance at a ShootOut event in Los Vegas in a couple months?

What shop is that? I wasn't aware there was a Mustang Dyno in town.

FWIW, Horsepower House just moved from Lexington, KY to Las Vegas out by the Speedway. They had a Mustang AWD dyno in Kentucky, and I think that it's probably in the LV shop now. That machine is only a year or so old, though. . . . the gear in that photo earlier in the post is certainly NOT J. R. 's AWD machine, so my guess is it was probably hijacked off the internet somewhere.

No worries, though. I'll be in Vegas sometime this year with a 2400hp "Elvis" rig so Mr. Viper can come show what he's made of.

OK, here's and e-mail from Garth for Tim. Since the phone thing isn't working and Garth doesn't have an account here, I'm posting it for him. He says this will sum it up and he's done for the night.

"Keith post this. This is the deal. Mr Viper for being such a pro street racer, I find it odd that you want to run on a 2 lane road at night. Not too safe? We will be available all day sunday. Lets put a end to all this Bull****. We love to run all kinds of cars and bikes. We will be at the Starbucks @11:00AM on Sunday Charelston and Town Center. . I dont understand the big money issue, we run cause we love the rush and the cars period. . I find it funny that you throw a huge $ amount into the equation. Just run your Viper and shut us all up... We have full street trim and full weight cars. Bring on the Snakes!!!"

So Tim, you have his number, call him if you have something to change here. I'll tell you, Garth is about the most humble guy I know for what he has in the garage/backyard etc. If you beat him, he'll be the first guy to run up and shake your hand and say good job. He, like a lot of us out there, have an appreciation for the money, time, effort and longing that it takes to put together a car of this caliber.

I personally think this whole thing got totally blown out of proportion. I also kinda suspect that you threw a big dollar amount out there hoping that "the little guys" wouldn't have the sack to step up to it, which leaves you an easy out. Honestly, if the motor just went together a few days ago, and was on the dyno doing the tuning yesterday, how ready is it to run tomorrow? Not many people would do that to a street car. Race car, maybe.

If it's not worth bringing your car out to show them what's up, at least go show up and introduce yourself.

So, how many of you think we have dual or even multi-personalities here?? I haven't had this much fun since I joined TDR!!

Still just a lot of talk to me. :-laf

Who's a security guard?

BTW Your machine might have a virus. I just did a pen test to see what you are using. Looks like you have a few ports open.

Oh, Did you think I was a lowly physical security guard, hahahahah now that's funny, anal ranger

I don't go to LV for gambling. I go there for Blackhat once a year
