Pumping RV sewage uphill to a septic tank?

In cab controllers for air bags...help?

:) I'm excited!!!

Its almost Super Bowl Sunday and we haven't camped since Sep07. Getting itchy to go.

We've made reservations for the whole year in the last 2 weeks. We have 7 trips planned for the Oregon coast, 3 for Central Oregon and 2 for some nice lakes in the mid Willamette Valley.

Where is everyone planning to go this year? Any major trips?

Our major trip last year was to the Redwoods. What a beautiful place. If you haven't been, you need to go. Words and pictures can't describe it. We stayed at the Cresent City KOA. Very nice management there.

Thanks,

Louis

March 1 we hit the road for two months to FL and back to WA... stopping along the gulf coast from TX to FL then up into SC and then back on my own. Sweety is taking a ship ride thru the Panama Canal from Miami to Seattle for 19 days... I'll meet her withthe dogs when she gets back. Stopping to see old HS chums in my way back... should be fun. . I am looking forward to it ALL!!!! Capt PJ

We're in the planning stage for a trip from GA out west later this summer. hope to visit Mt. Rushmore, Glacier, Yellowstone and then drop south thru the canyon lands.

YeeHaw!

Keep grinnin

Leave Mar 1 to AZ, Southren CA & central CA then home. In June going to CT to see our Grandson graduate from high school, thinking we will fly there & in July & Aug going to Glacier Lake then to WA & OR. Of course this depends on the price of fuel.

Last year we went to Yellowstone. We are leaving May 2 for two weeks to the grand canyon.

We then have a trip planned to Kahneeta, Long beach, Sisters Oregon for the rodeo and hopefully a week at Loon Lake if we can get reservations.

It's going to be a busy summer with lots of miles put on the truck and trailer

We'll be travelling across country to see grandkids and friends . We'll put about 9-10 thousand miles over a four month period. 10mpg towing means that fuel will be the single most expensive item. Can't wait!!!

We're in the process of planning a week in March. We went to Death Valley last March (103*!) and want to go somewhere south again this year. We don't want to spend 4 out of 8 days on the road. We are in Reno. Any good suggestions of good, uncrowded, kind of warm, campgrounds in Southern Nevada/SoCal? Dirt bike, quad, and dog friendly is a bonus. Thanks

My big first camping trip is Indiana Beach Memorial Weekend for me:-laf, just an excuse to go hang with a few friends without the wife. BTW my new camper is the backseat of the MEGA, beats setting up a tent.

Just remember to crack those windows if it's chilly at night or you won't be able to see through them in the morning. I had all windows down about 1/2 inch and I still fogged the truck up. Of course, it was 20 out. And I was alone. Is that pathetic? Remember the good old days of fogged windows at the drive in?

We sure liked it around the Grants Pass area. We were there last October. This year it will probably be Yosemite and Sequoia NP's.

Our major trip for this summer is for a week or so in the smoky mountains. Wifey is thinking somewhere close to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. As some of you mentioned, we are saving for fuel already.

There is a little town of Sievierville (sp) just about 3 miles west of Pigeon Forge on the main road into Pigeon Forge. There is a CG there (on the left side going toward Pigeon Forge, right on the river pretty nice, quiet.

The closer you get to Gatlinburg the $$ it gets. Gatlinburg is about 10 miles east of Pigeon Forge. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge lots of shops and Dolly Wood. Gatlinburg has a GREAT restrauant down on the river on the right going into town, a great restrauant (GREAT wine selection, linen table cloths, but a little $$) on the left of the wedge that forms the town of Gatlinburg, also an aerial tram up into the mountains.

LOTS of restaurants. Chip's Transmissions (Where I took my 47RE to be rebuilt to DTT specs, BRIGHT YELLOW building, talk to Phil) in Sievierville is a DTT shop if you have any problems and would be a GOOD place to start a mechanical problem solution process.

Do go to Cade's cove (old pioneer settlement, about 5 original log homes and a church) outside of Gatlinburg. Interesting story of an early settlement.

Have Fun,

Bob Weis

I've been too all those places. Sure was a fun trip. I'd like to do again soon.

Sometime in May when I know it will not snow anymore I will haul the Lance out of the barn and head to northern Wisconsin near Hiles or Argonne and camp.
