Can someone tell me what the front track width is on a '89-'93 (or probably earlier years too) 4x4 (250 or 350 SRW) with stock size tires?

Trying to figure out if it is too wide to fit on a tow dolly?

Thanks!

dodge track size

its way to large for a tow dolly only way to tow it is tow bar or trailer but it has to be a wide trailer dodges r wider then ford or chevy :)

I've measured before, and according to Uhaul's dolly width my 89 would fit, thats with 265/75/16's which are wider than stock. But any 1/2 ton or bigger, let alone a Cummins equipped rig or that crew cab you're trying to get from Cali, is MUCH to heavy for a tow dolly. Better look into a tow bar. Something like SamsRams made up or one available from an RV dealer. A trailer for something with such a long wheel base will cost ya... Sure won't get a crew swb on one of Uhaul's car trailers, only a standard cab longbed 131" wb. Sure you could tell the rental place, you're gonna haul back a Ford Ranger, but I don't think the dolly would last very long??... On edit: Maybe Sam could bring his homemade tow bar to Vegas and he'd let you borrow it?? Then you ship it back to him or buy it off him?? Sam?

Well, a UHaul dolly is not what I have, cant remember what brand mine is, but I know it has a wider stance than a U-Haul. I was asking this about a '92 W250 I need to move around locally, not the Crew Cab in Cali. I like a good road trip/adventure just as much as the next guy, but I'm not towing that big Crew Cab all the way to TX on a tow dolly! :)

Plus thats wayyyyy too far for me (there and back), gonna pay a truck to do it.
