Can the uconnect mirror be retrofit?

The auto dim/uconnect mirror has two plugs. The long flat one with seven pins and three wires is for the auto dim. The square one with twelve pins and six wires is for the uconnect. Testraud the mirror has a circuit board inside and may not send the right signals to the Uconnect module that you have. Azcattle look at my thread from a few days ago (starscan/uconnect install). Mcrossley posted back that the computer needs to be told that uconnect has been added to the truck.
