ECM for sale?

Thanks JR2 I was just wondering where I would get an extra ECM from. Thats Cheap too.

Just kidding with ya... BUt if you intend on getting that one, I would edit your post and erase the link ASAP. If I was not such a nice guy I'd be on that one.

I guess I should make my post a little less muddy. Don't buy that ECM it will not work on our trucks. Its an dual 50 pin version, the ECM's on dodges only have one 50 pin connector.

SOOOOO... ... . Guys, help me dream a little bit here.

Say one had a CaTCHER ECM, a Hot Rod VP-44, a FASS, a Drag Comp and some EDM 6's... ...

... what would be a realistic dyno number in terms of horsepower for a 24 valve 6 Speed?

But would it be streetable, do you guys think?

I know someone who had that combo, only a bigger bottem turbo and with NO tunning he did 654 i think. It was also VERY streetable. He loved it, and was VERY happy with it.

OK, need to make my post clearer. I've tried to be straight up from the get go.

I've been a member here for almost 4years and I've read about the mad ecm for years.

I am not a fan of tapping the pump wire and shorting the life of my vp44, so I've always looked for better ways to add more horsepower.

I am not in this for competition, I use mt truck for pleasure and hauling my 10k 5er.

I've always wanted to try Marco's ecm reflash if sounded great and when battering ram posted his results I knew I wanted one.

Doug gave me the opportunity to get a reflash done, so out I go in search of a spare ecm.

I always wanted to keep my spare and may ne needed to go back to stock configuration.

I do keep the spare ecm under the back seat of my truck for storage. Why keep it at home?

And if for some reason I did have a problem with Marco's ecm program it would be handy yo have it in the truck and not sitting at home.

I am not worried about be "left stranded on the side of the road"

Matt hooked me up with someone that got a Marco ecm last year for free and for testing.

I will post the rest of this story onTuesday, when I have the other side of the story.

I am very happy with this product and I will sell it and sell many when given the opportunity.

Several NW ecm's are already on the way back to Doug, at least 5

more to follow... ... .....

Bob, your post seem clear to me. Like you, I'm not a competition driver & I'd rather leave my pump wire un tapped. My

"spare" ECM is somewhere in a UPS truck on it's way to Doug for shipment to Marco. I have enjoyed the spirited discussions here. They have brought up many questions I never would have thought to ask. I have yet to read anything by any one who has actually used the MAD flash who has had any problems with it save the power comming on to fast. Maybe that will become a problem for me next winter when I have to 4 wheel through the snow drifts to feed my horses, but I bet I'll be able to deal with it without putting my original ECM back in.

I appreciate your bringing this product to the board & I look forward to reports from those lucky 5 NW BOMBers.
