BIG BOB et al,

Here's some pics of my CB mount installed. Very happy with fit, quality and finish. Couple items to note, the full size mount will work with a NV5600 BARELY, and only if you have a BD (or other) short shift kit. I still may slightly bend my shift lever, if I pull too hard back I can touch my radio. Like Bob has said before, you should mount your radio directly to the CB mount, not the supplied quick release bracket, that will give you another 1/4-3/8" clearance. Since these pictures I have added a cell phone hand-free kit above the speaker, all fits very nicely. Again, thanks Bob for a GREAT product!

I did something a little different since I like to set things in the space between the center console and seat. I mounted my CB on the left knee bolster. It is a full size CB and really doesn't get in my way. Now, If my inseam was greater than 32, my knee might hit the radio. I do not sit close to the steering wheel, so hitting the radio is not a problem. If I were to get in an accident, It is very possible the radio could cause some damage to me... I do like this location as it provides a natural left had accessible place to work the radio ... I will post pics in my gallery as soon as I get time. .

can you still open the lower storage compartment with big bobs mount?

Yes, you still have full access to the storage compartment. :)

Thanks Cryppie for the kind words. I know the NV5600 is tight but does work without any problems. Guys that have had the BD short shifters do have more clearance.

A tip for all, when you mount your radio to the mount, make sure you have the radio far enough to the right for the shifter to clear. Check for shifter clearance. :D
