Couldn't find a thread about CCW permits that was somewhat interesting. I posted that it was kind of hard to CC a shot gun. I STAND CORRECTED!!!

Now why do you have to tease us TDR members in Comifornia, you know its next to impossible for us to get a CCW. You should have a "WARNING don't read this if your from Comifornia" in the Title. :-laf:-laf:-laf:-laf:-laf:-laf:-laf:-laf

Sometimes I forget!!

Anymore its pretty much like putting on a belt. I don't have to CC around the house but I do just incase I need to take care of WHAT EVER!! problem arises.
Its become more of a tool, I've had to finish off a Dog that couldn't understand that the Coyotes are not stray neighborhood dogs ( it couldn't make the transition from Calif to MT)

Had cattle that didn't fend well with Coyote attacks.

And have taken a few shots at Coyotes running away when I came out of the shop at night.

There are a few counties in California that allow CCW... mostly the RED counties
Which Kern County is....
Not that I have one <grin> but they are available.

More counties than you'd think!

Hey what about me in NYC? BIG, isn't that why you avoided the city on your tour? CCW is possible here but the hoops to go through is like Evel jumping the Grand Canyon.

NJ , another state you cant CCW.
I'm good in something like 40 states, but not here,
FWIW, I know people that live in Cali and have their CCW. It can be done there at least. In some counties (Northern Cali)
