Any Union Members on here?

I've been going round and round with this one. Tried and tried to play a CD I burned(downloaded). Checked and rechecked to make sure I did everything right.

The problem is my 2001 Dodge won't play my burned CD. The first one it tried would play some of the music and at other times sporadically. The last one wouldn't even play.

Contacted the dealer and they said the Dodge trucks won't play burned CDs.

Contacted the dealer in Michigan and they said the year of my truck should allow burned CDs to play. Some in the past haven't, but this one is supposed to play them.

So can anyone tell me if there is a solution to my problem?:

My media??? I'm a little computer illiterate.

I recorded it on CD-R and and the hard drive has cd-writer.

Is that what you mean?

you are sure you used cd-r Not cd-rw?

Did your cd writer close out/finalize the disc. Without this, only 'puter can read them.

I have no problem playing CD-WORM (write once read many) aka CD-R CD's in my truck that have been burned using "Nero Burning" software and a TDK CD-RW drive in my computer. They will play in my truck, my wife's Durango, my Acura, the CD players in the house and RV, etc.
