One of my students works for a company that was bidding a contract that required a specific fuel. The fuel is culled Propel and is similar to biodiesel but meets the ASTM D975 specification, which is the same as number 2 diesel. I checked it out and filled up with 24 gallons a few days ago. The cetane rating is 65 + and it has a noticeable reduction in engine rattling especially up near 3000 RPM before it makes a shift. I've only got about 60 miles on that tank so I can't say the fuel economy is any different but engine noise is certainly drastically reduced. It was $0.10 per gallon higher than diesel in my case $3.69 vs $3.59 per gallon
