Well just got back from my local cummins garage, very bad news, the ecm on our trucks do not have the pto programming in them. The tech used the inline 2 connector and tapped in to data connector (triangular 2 wire connector with power connector attached, gray in color) located in main wiring harness down by timing cover, should be exposed and hanging loose. He used a desktop computer and insite, inspec software to access the ecm. If you had the pto software it will be found in the section titled adjustments and parameters, from there they active it and make all the adjustments as per the operator. He showed what it looks like on a training simulator they have, lots very useful features if you have the right ecm,he also told me I could upgrade my ecm to have the above mentioned features for a very pricey $3000 CDn but said it probably would not communicate with dodge pcm. To expensive of an experiment for me... ... The tech did provide me with a printout of all my engine part # associated with cpl # for cross reference if Iwanted to up-rate the hp of my isb. I did however acquire the incal calibration CD has some useful information on it. Not sure how to post the files as attachments.
Looks like were back to sq one again... ... ... .
