Where To Buy A Psychotty 2 Air Box???

How to hook up FP gauge with a FASS?

Where to get 1 3/8 input shaft?

I may be getting a dual disk SBC for a 6-speed, since my clutch is a 5-speed I need a new/bigger input.

Edit: Reworded so as not to talk about prices, didn't think about that Steve! Sorry!

So, where would be the best PLACE to find a cheap one? What about a 1 1/4 shaft? How much horsepower to each hold?

Thanks!

Nick

Hey Nick, How about giving LaserBob a shout I bet he can answer your question. But what I wanna know is what are you getting ready to do to need a dual disk. ATS has a South-Bend single MU-1947-Con-FE

6spd 'Feramic' that will hold up to 550hp/1100tq For the High-Output,is that what you have? If not they make one for the standard-output its a 13" Con-FE Clutch Conversion 5spd & 6spd non-HO 'Feramic' up to 550hp/1100tq. I think this could be a monster in the making, good luck. See you on the 12th Oo.

To piggy-back on this question, how much HP/Torque can I run through my 1-1/4" input shaft before I snap it off?? (or any other parts) I'm at 350/700 (estimated) right now, don't want to break it, mostly concerned when towing the 13,000lb race trailer. :D

Thanks

Tom

Nick,

I can answer it without the need of getting in trouble and causing our superpowered moderator upset,LOL. ALL of those who stock the 1-3/8 input shaft sell them for the same price or within a few dollars of each other. When I did my Double disc I saved all the records and just went and refreshed my memory for you... . Andy

Not all input shafts are the same. While any competent machinist can make one, it is the steel that makes the difference. Try contacting DTT for advice.
