Odd, perhaps dumb parts question

What is book time to replace hydroboost unit?

Got two codes yesterday. PO191 and B2100. Not sure they are related. Truck starts and runs fine. I have a CP3 showing normal charging voltage and fuel pressure. Could it be a sensor. Batteries are optima about 2 years old.
2006 2500 no upgrades
125,000 miles

I guess I know now why nobody has responded. I took the truck into the shop. He has had it a week and still can't find the problem. The only thing he has said is the filter to the fuel tank is dirty. I do not go mudding but was extremely muddy weekend at the deer lease a few months ago. Fuel pressure is good, alternator is charging and the fuel rail sensor is good.

First things first. Delete the codes and do a hard reset on the electronic, means disconnect the battery's.
Many codes that show and do not impact drive ability are glitches and won't come back.

P0191 - Rail pressure sensor performance/range - if it comes back replace sensor, check wires to ECM for resistance first.
B2100 - Driver door lock switch - very likely broken wire in the door harness, nothing important.

They are not connected to each other.

This would be my starting points - if needed after a reset - here.

I dealt with a PO191 on a 2011 6.7 before. Rail pressure relief valve solved it.

There are many reason that can trigger a P0191, that's why needs to follow the trouble shooting tree to figure ut out.
PRV is only one of several possibilities. I try to keep him from wasting any more money right now.

I agree. Just relaying an experience I personally had to let him know what may be the solution down the road. Not a challenging repair, easier to get to than the rail pressure sender that’s for sure.
