HELP!!! Need gooseneck lock for Belshe trailer

Class A, is flat nose as in cab over style, front or rear engine. Class C, is front engine cab chasis style, usually with an overhead sleeping compartment.

Class B is?? I think it is just standard van that is modified to sleep/camp in. Usually front engine, unless ya have a 60's VW bus:-laf Some times the "B" may have a tent or hard top, pop up.

Found these definitions on an RV website... .

The Class B motorhome, also known as Van Camper, is a panel-type truck that has been customized to include two of the following conveniences: sleeping, kitchen and toilet facilities, also 110-volt electrical hook-up, fresh water storage, city water hook-up and a top extension to provide more head room.

The Class C motorhome (also known as Mini Motor Home), sometimes referred to as a Mini-motorhome, provides the conveniences of a larger motorhome in a scaled-down version and at a lower price.

They range in size from 10,000 to 12,000 pound gross vehicle weight, from 20 to 25 feet in length and about 10 feet high. The Class C is built on an automotive manufactured van chassis with an attached cab section with access to the driver's compartment. Their driver compartment is similar to a van with a large box in the back. The passenger can move from the passenger seat to the back of the unit.

Size: 20 to 28 feet

That helps. I guess I was thinking the Class B was between the A and C, when it actually is something else all together.

Does Class A reguire a special driver's license if privately owned/operated??

Thanks again,

Class C is usually a cab and chassis with the RV body attached.

Class B is usually a van with RV accessories installed inside (some will widen the original van body).

As of this date I don't know of a state that requires a special license for RV's but its required in some provinces of Canada now... and some states are starting to look at it as well.....

I have a good friend with a 44 ft Class A diesel pusher with air brakes... . he has no clue how they work, or that the water needs to be removed from the air tanks, or any of the issues a Class 8 truck driver needs to know... . nor can he back it up... . I know its a matter of time before he's in a bad accident but he just doesn't want to learn or go to any classes... He's now late 70's and is really slowing down... .

Just my thoughts... ... ...
