Fifth Wheel Hitch?

Buying a new Fifth Wheel trailer. Its a 32 foot Alpenlite. I own a 2001, 3500, 4x4 . The height of the truck ( Its Stock) seems higher then Ford and Chevy. We have another older Fifth wheel trailer that we had to flip the axels in order to have the proper clearance and have the trailer ride level. I am hoping that we don't have do that with the new Trailer. Has any one had problems with Fifth Wheel Trailers and 2001, 3500 ,4x4.

Thank You

My 2500 has no problem. I did however have to lower the hitch to the lowest setting. That still allows me 6"+ clear over the bed rails. With the tongue weight of your new coach, you should get enough drop in your springs to help you out. Good luck!

You might consider lowering the back end of the truck if you need some additional clearance. You can remove the rear spacers and loose about 1-1/2" of height.
