Well I guess living in Arizona does have its benefit then doesn't it?;)

Yes it does, right along with CA, NV, parts of UT and ID. :-laf

Granted I only lived in AZ for 2 years, but, never saw a rain storm I considered heavy. Snow and slush in the north yes, but no rain to compare to the southeast.

When one is rolling waves of water OVER the car next to you on the hi-ways, even under hood open filters are in danger. Better have an Outerwears or the filter is history.

Forget mudding with a PSM, I've seen mud in the air box without a larger channel to it. :-laf:-laf

I too have the HD mod. . I am running stock fueling and noticed a difference on the IAT's, and on the filter minder. When I did mine I put a threaded PVC fitting on the bottom and carry the plug with me at all times. In the winter it will get plugged and forgotten (I have never had a issue in the winter, the colder denser air seems to flow better, so the extra air isn't needed. . at least for me).

I have sucked snow and water into my filter as well. Under really windy conditions is when it happens. I have a pg 7. A paper filter would implode. The AFE doesn't. I don't like oil but I guess its better to have oil than water.
