Just walked in the house..... whoo... Just finished my FASS 150 installation with the RACOR 2micron filter and see through bowl. I insulated all the brackets from the fass to the bracket with 3m double sided tape. bracket to frame mount with dynomat. frame mount to frame with dynomat. Turned on the ignition and the fass pumped fine and I can SEE my fuel in the bowl WOW ! You can hear the pump run but with no resonance. I hope it stays this quiet once I get it hooked into the CP3. Thanks goes to Brady at II for the pump and RACOR filter.

PS... I also coated all the body panels and bed near the pump with dynomat also.

CRiggan - Hey!, what is dynomat??? Thanks, Also, did you mount the FASS after the factory fuel filter??? Thanks again!

dynomat is a sound deadener. it is made up of something similar to aluminum foil on one side and sticky substance almost like tar on the other side. It is mostly used with automotive stereo systems to help make the sound area more crisp by lowering or stopping vibrations from the body of the car.

You can buy dynomat at BEST BUY or you can do like I did and buy the cheaper kind from walmart called scoche. It is in the audio dept in automotive in walmart

Hope this helps

ps. . Its about 9 bucks a pop , a bought 3 kits

what is the best fuel filter to run on my 2004. 5 325/600 and where can i buy them ? please get back to me please , because i m looking for a 2 micron filter now

The best money you could spend would be to buy a FASS or AirDog with a 3 micron filter. Pick a morning to do the install and by lunch time you'll be riding. Very easy to install.

your right but i already bought the setup , i bought just the pump itself so i want to know what is the very best filter i can run in the stock fuel canister ? and when i checked online to look at the fass150 pump it comes with what looks like a small inline fuel filter like i used to run on my street cars

You cannot get better than the factory 10-micron filter for the stock canister. There have been rumors of a 7-micron filter being forthcoming, but I don't have any information whether that's now available or not.
