Computerized gooseneck hitch

At work we are putting a new gooseneck hitch on one of our delivery trucks (03 2500 CTD). Supposedly it has a sensor in the hitch that communicates with a box in the cab that controls the trailer brakes. It's supposed to vary braking automatically. I guess the point of a hitch like this is for those who think twisting the knobs on their controller is too much for them to handle. It's supposed to be like a $700 hitch. Anybody have any experience with these. I'll try to keep yall posted on how this thing works out. It'll be interesting to say the least.
