That truely is a nice looking piece. Good job on the design and blending with OEM look of the truck. Knowing what SS costs and taking into consideration average labor costs, these could easily sell for $150 each.

I did material pricing today and if I were to buy the material to fabricate 1 unit out of Stainless Steel my material costs would be 197. 11. + tax. ($5. 60 per foot for 1/2 S. S. . 035 tubing X 20 feet & $85. 11 for a 36 X 36, 3/3 . 047 mesh) With welding consumables and labor it would probably end up around $275,..... pretty pricey. I am checking out "bulk" orders of Materials to see if some savings can be achieved. Another alternative would be to fabricate it out of Carbon Steel material. The costs for the C. S. material is about $90. 00 + tax probably end up about $165. 00. I did notice today as I was measuring for material take off the paint is chipped where rocks have struck it and you can see the S. S. underneath, obviously with Carbon Steel you would have bare metal exposed at these impact points wich would rust. Less money but not as durable. Still pricey. I am not out to make a bunch of money, the biggest factor in the prices is obviously the material costs.



If there is still interest at these estimates I would need some time to research 2nd & 3rd generation rams to verify dims as I'm sure they are different. I would also need to build jigs to insure accuracy. If the interest is there and I decided to do it, it would probably be 4 to 6 months before I could began fabrication.
