Man where do I get started with seeing nice dodges today. There was the elusive TDR member in the blue 3rd gen in derby today that I have seen before, Another 12V I saw almost get run off the rd towing a trailer by some dumbass driving a BMW passing on a bend, then a 98 QC/LB 12V I passed on rt 8 you had a slide in camper in.

Then of course there was a supposed Diehard TDR/Dodge/Cummins guy Who I didnt see because he was driving Farfegnugen, but he saw me. :-laf

Tuesday i saw a sweet Black Quad cab 3rd crossing a bridge that i was jumping off in to the willimantic river. The road was right off of rt 32 on the Coventry/Mansfield line it had a little TDR badge on the Grille. ,no stickers. , nice exhaust. i tried to flag him down but he proably thought i was nuts cause i was jumping off a bridge about 15-20 feet above the water. .

Were you out Cruizzin the pike when he called your bluff???

Some people think it's all show - Right until you go and blow his doors off!

no i was in a parkin lot wendys in fact he pulled up talking smack :-{} so i pulled out behind him and showed him up plain and simple. if its one thing i learned it was on the dyno i didnt program my chip the right way and scott from mass showed me how reprogramed and pulled an extra 50rwhp out the truck since then i did the same to my friends truck same thing. and you can hear the truck change and his truck sounded almost like mine did before i tuned. come to find out by hearsay the was stock turbo edged, mbrp ehaust  so i think he doesnt know much about diesel

Yes, that was my white truck, but it was not me.

I loaned the truck to a friend while they are getting their transmission fixed. Trashed the rear bumper and a little dent to the bottom of the left rear quarter panel where it was pushed in by the bumper :(

The driver that hit my truck does not have insurance

Yes, it sure does suck :(

I am curious to see how this all works out with the driver’s insurance company  It is my understanding that here in Connecticut the driver is insured and not the vehicle.

That was not the case about 4 years ago when my daughter got whacked while she was using my truck (creased in a parking lot while she was in the store... no note of course). Insurance company said it was on me... . because it was my vehicle.

(but it was an old Ford so I didn't bother getting anything done)

Hope it works out differently for you.

Litchfield

To my surprise, I saw a fellow TDR member on Maple Street Litchfield this evening. A green 2nd gen. with towing mirrors and TDR grill badge. First time that I've seen this truck!!

Accident Update

Hi All,

The repair estimate is $1,500. 00. My insurance company (Geico) will pay to have everything fixed minus my deductible, of course.

In turn, Geico will go after the driver who hit my truck and the vehicle owners’ insurance company for the damages. Including reimbursement of my deductible.

Turns out, the driver that hit my truck was in a borrowed vehicle too.

So, things are not that bad.

There are two silver linings to this story. Because I was not at fault, this claim will not affect my rates. And, there is a Buckstop bumper that will be delivered to my door in 4 weeks :D
