2015 Factory Service Manual/CD....when?

Having retired early this year we're considering a reduction in insurance/maintenance cost by selling 3 vehicles...wife's 2010 Accord, her 1998 12V dually and my 2011,1500 Longhorn and then buying a 4th gen truck that she'll pull her horse trailer with. May go new or more likely a low mileage 13 or 14. So, all that said anyone have any advise or suggestions on a good/great dealer. Seems I recall several folks reporting good luck with Dave Smith Motors in Idaho.

The ultimate goal is to replace the wifes 98 clubcab 12V with a newer truck that can also be our good vehicle. I've been spoiled with my Longhorn gas burner, but man a new Cummings Longhorn is in the 60K range which is a bit outside our budget.

Pay close attention to pricing. Depending on what you're looking for, you can almost buy a new 2015 for what the dealership is asking for the used one. This is what I've found lately.

God luck

Buy new!

Dave Smith, Dennis Dillon. I bought my 15 at AutoNation in Seattle, WA. They were the exact same price as DS but they destroyed DS on trade allowance!

I just purchased a '15, 2500,C.C.,L/B, 4x4, 68rfe. The "sticker" price sent me into shock, $57k. But got "out the door" for $47k. However the purchase was on a "holiday" week end and the dealer was offering a "holiday sales event". I got it at a dealership in Idaho Falls, Idaho. My previous ride was a '97 SLT 2500, Std.Cab,4x4, 48rfe. We have a Lance slide-in camper & 30' travel trailer. The '15 is a joy to drive. GO FOR IT, you won't be sorry.

On most trucks (exception may be stripped trucks), you should easily be able to get $10k off the sticker. If you're real fancy, upwards of $12k.

Thanks All! Good advise, I'll take it all into consideration as we move forward with our "Thinning the Herd" efforts. Sold the wife's '10 Accord this week, now to detail the 1500 Longhorn and move it. That little truck has sorta spoiled me for the finer things in the truck world.

I just brought a new to me 13 3500 CCSB 6.7 Laramie with the 6.7. I have a 99 CTD THAT I LOVE.. And a 2007 Duramax classic both of those trucks have been great I have worked both trucks very hard. The DW and I wanted something more plush found this 13 with 17000 miles and this truck is amazing so far.. I only have driven it 200 miles but it has been nice.. Good luck

Chris, Congratulations! I just (this Monday) picked up a 2015, 2500 Bighorn 4X4 crewcab in Prairie Pearl with Canyon Brown/Tan interior. On,,,,,went with the 6.4 Hemi. I know, I know shoulda got a Cummins. I may well come to have regrets, however this is the wife's truck (selling her 98 12v dually very soon, just gotta detail it) and the most work it'll ever do is pull her horse trailer. The trailer weighs 9,500 with two horses, we seldom haul 3 so it should work out. I was happy with the 5.7 Hemi in the 2011 I sold last week, in just over a 100,000 miles it had zero issues, nada, none. I had a 2014 Laramie 2500 with Cummins last year and really wasn't happy with all the new truck mandated requirements. Now if I needed a work truck, no doubt it'd be a Cummins.

Best of Luck!

Concerning new truck purchase has anyone seen any information on what the factory invoice would be. Several years ago there was a publication for loan officers that found it's way onto TDR. Any comment are always helpful.

2003, 2500 4X4 Laramie package, Mileage 165K.
