Haha, I can't wait either, gona be alot of fun workin on these things with people that know what they're doing! All I ask is that nobody plays any Peaches&Herb Cd's lol. But I'm a guest and I'm polite so I guess if you did play any of that or the Village People I'll put on my best fake smile and tell you I love it lmao. Not even a month :) Nice!

Most of the time we listen to an older rock station or country. Jermey does have a cd with all the old trucker songs that would fit good into the event. :-laf

Carl we also need you there on Friday night. We want your truck to be cool when we start on the KDP. When I send out the directions my phone number will be in with them. I'll meet you and lead you out so your truck can stay there all night for cool down. I'll pick you up the next morning and bring you back out there.

Hey since when does Jeremy get time to do this kinda thing and he can't even drop in for a post or three... ;) ... heck I haven't even gotten an email from him in the last three months either... .

I smell a HP penalty comin on this one..... the dog... ;):D:D

pastor bob...

Philip-No problem, I'll be there Friday night then. Thanks for being so accomodating :) You guys are on Central time right? I was planning on working the day thursday then heading out-I figgure Minneapolis is about half way to Peru, and I've made it to Minny in less than 7 1/2 hours... . so if i estimate right, I should be there approx. 8 p. m. Is that alright? Heh I was just kidding about the music, you could play the Minipops for all I care :)

Greenleaf-I haven't booked yet, I'm still not sure if I'm going to spend the night saturday or leave after our day is done... Is the Best Western real busy? Should I be booking yesterday? Since you're there I'll try and book there too(not to sound like a lost puppy ;)) Maybe now with all the Diesel Dawgs comin down I may be left out in the cold lol. Good to see you're goin too GL :)

I don't believe you will have any problemo getting a room @ Best Western on Fri or Sat in Peru. Not much happening there that weekend. Most of the diesel heads will be traveling in for the day only, unless this thing would really happen to catch on and become like a second Muncie. That may take a few years IMO.

Scott

Karen and Woody and I are planning on camping out down that way in our 1st gen house :D. Then after the festivities we'll be off to Ceraland for a night or two, and then after that: ???

Here I thought was gonna be 1st gen Woodstock lol. Is the Best Western big enough for both of us? Haha It's going to be lots of fun meeting you all :)

I'm thinking a hearty breakfast is in order if I have to get my hands dirty. Perhaps Jeremy's wife will feel my pain and round us all up a country breakfast Hoosier style. I like my toast soft and eggs scrambled please. Make that rye bread and add some Canadian bacon, right Carl.

I'll have to see. My girlfriend says she can cook pretty well. I'll let y'all know in a few weeks if that holds true, or if she's just blowing smoke. Only problem is, and I posted this in the events forum, is that at the rate the boss is going he will still have rice in the field, in which case, I definitely wont make it. Told him last month I'd stay on for sure till he got the rice out, then start looking for another job while we got beans out (they aint so hectic). Hope I can make it; it'd be my first TDR get together, and it'll be nice to show off some of my cowboy engineering and what does and doesnt work, what could stand improvement, etc. Bill, I want pics of the HX35 install in your rig.

We can hope it rains here that Friday :-laf. No, he cant and wont force me to work every weekend, it's more a case of take what you can get when- I've had too many 30hr weeks lately. If I drive her pickup (she babies the dang thing), we could make it in 6 hours, based on Mapquest's estimate of 7 hours and some minutes. I'll do what I can. She'e ready to go at a moment's notice, so that is no problem. Maybe I can call in sick. Tell him all the grain dust is just getting to me... ... :D

DP, or get with 'dieselman359' - Chris from St Louis area, I talked to him about this at Scheids event, he says he wants to go, not for sure just yet, you can ride with him, save on fuel etc. ??..... where ya at Chris, ya gotta get online sometime or another, he's busy at cruising for chics with his aluminum flatbed, but too busy watching all his 6 gauges:D

Any updates as to who's goin who's not? DP, It would sure be cool if you'd pull a couple strings to get down there, I'd like to feel the power you got in your truck :) Mine being a stocker there's not a helluvalot of jam (yet lol) It's going to be nice to see everyone's rig. We don't see very many 1st gens(with diesel) out here, when I see one it sure stands out. Thanks again to Philip, Greenleaf and Case500D for putting this on, you guys rock #ad
:)

Btw: Greenleaf, is there really a difference between our bacon and yours? If Canadian bacon is that good I'll bring down a whole bunch so everyone can take some home. I just got to get ahold of my meatcutter buddy to find out where to get the best bacon $ can buy ;)

Wow Canadian bacon and beer?? Looks like I might just have to turn this maybe into a definately.

DP, my hx35 is gonna be installed IC'd style. Got the intercooler and charge air pipes in hand. Need the short cast elbow and clamps attached to the turbo outlet. Think I'm gonna post a thread with the other plumbing problems I've encountered. Might just have to drive the 91 up there.
