I called the Dodge dealer in Melbourne Fl last week and he did not know anything.



Plenty of them off brand truck out there. If they come out with the in line 6, It might make it worth looking at. Really tired of waiting for the real thing.

Somebody slipped a big block into that crew cab. It came with a small block (360). The last B/RB was installed in the 1979 model.

I was sittin in a 2003 3500 QC today and... .

I'm 6'4 and large in the other direction.

I sat in the drivers seat, had 2" between my legs and the dash, same as my 96 with the seat all the way back. I dont know if this was all the way back on this truck, it had electric seats.

I then got in the back...

i needed about 6 more inches to be comfortable. I had one knee pushing the center console down and the other bwteen the seat and b piller

it has a little more room than a ols style qc, but not much.

DC, I don't think they remember what a Crew Cab looks like on a Dodge.

Will DC ever give us a true Crew Cab? I know so many that have already left our ranks because this truck does not exist. I am talking to the owner of a '99 3500 about buying his truck because he waited for the new trucks and still cannnot get a CC in the Dodge. He has ordered a new F@$d. He is tried of the shell game DC is playing.

Dodges answer to Expedition

I am still waiting for dodge to make a Ramcharger on a 2500 chassis, of course with the I6 and a 6-speed. I am sure glad that I am patient. Fords wimpy version has been one of the best sellers even with a little teeny weeny gas burner and an auto.

Tell DC its TIME for a REAL Crew Cab, I am getting tired of building my own:{ :{ . I would LOVE to have a 3rd generation Dodge with a Cummins. Better yet how about a extended crew cab ?

My dad has a 1980 Crew Cab Dually. There is not I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER for room in the back seat of that thing. No more room than the 02 1500s thats for sure. I am 6'3 225 and my knees press against the METAL backing of the front seat lol. If I ride back there I have to ride sideways accross the seat. Just my . 02

Hey Clark, I can't recall all of the posts on crew can trucks, but if you want to see a REAL crew cab, try the back seat of a SuperDookie Crewcab. My work truck has enough room for big boys and their toys!

My roomate has a 95 PSD Crew Cab Truck... . tons of room. Only problem is it rides like a school bus back there. At least in my QC truck its to tight of a fit for people to bounce around lol.



What I was refering to in my post was that the older Crew Cab Dodges don't have much room in the back seat at all. My next truck is going to be a regular cab less people to listen to that way lol

Two days ago I saw a black Ram Sport, either 1500 or 2500 (single rear axle), and unfortunately I didn't get a great look at it but I believe a gasser, about a '97! It had Chrome mirrors. Anyway, this ram had SIX true doors, and still an 8' foot bed! Truly a sight to see! Just awesome! This was in Boulder, CO by the way!
