Has this ever happened to anyone? When i'm going any speed and set my cruise, the truck accelerates about 5 10 mph over what i set cruise to. also, after i climb a hill and start to come down it will keep accelerating well past what i originally set it for. i usually have to hit the brakes to get it to stop. I never use cruise when towing.

I have had this happen to me also ,but only in extreme cold weather. It seems allright in warm weather. If you have a service Man. it gives some good ifo. in section 8H. Hope this helps you out. John:

Mine did this some time ago - once I replaced the servo (located under drivers side battery and only available @ dealer -about $77) all was fine. I tried all the things listed in the service manual to "re-train" cc and nothing worked. Apparently the rubber diaphram in the servo deteriorates and the cruise stars acting funny then eventually fails. Go for the part and change it yourself - hardest part of the job is removing the battery - don't forget to disconnect the pass side positive too. You might be able to get the part here cheaper http://www.wholesalemopar.com/parts.htm or, http://www.partstrain.com/
