When anyone promotes Edge Product, I have never seen any monitor they produce survive more then 5 years in daily use.

I wonder if part of that might have to do with the extreme heat they are subject to with the simple window mount? Last year, parked in the hot sun for hours at a truck pull, mine quit for a few hours and I had to reboot it when it cooled off. I need to get a "real" mount so it can run a little cooler.

I found a Better Option instead of windshield mount

If you do a regen too frequently, can you wear out the DPF prematurely?

Just curious if that is a concern?

The silicon Carbide can take temps 2000F+ the DPF temps are only 1200-1300F, I think the casing will corrode before the internals fail.

So how has the new CTS2 and Juice been working? Did this fix the petal lag problem? Is there any torque management options? How about the overall power? Did you get the #6 tune as well. Need more information...

So far so good have been running around on Setting 1 which is supose to be the Fuel Saving Mode and so far it does look like i have gained about 3 MPG

Oh man.. I am jealous... I have the CTS Insight (monitor only)... I do like it, but the CTS2 has so much nicer display options... They CTS2 came out the week after I bought my CTS :-(

So far i like it i mainly bought it for the Monitor options but i like i can still change power Levels if i need too

I've been running edge stacked with efi live for about 3 yrs now. Also twins and truck runs crazy good. Never go above tow tune on either so I don't worry about too much timing. I have to Original CTS and love it. I prefer it to the CTS 2 as you have to change screens to change power levels. Not a good design for keeping eyes on the road if you ask me. But I sell edge products more than any other programer. They work well, have very few problems and have good conservative tunes so you don't blow things up. I throw my hat over the top of the CTS if its going to sit out in the sun for any length of time. ")

There would be no reason to Stack EFILive for tuning ,yes running the monitor for input but any type of tuning would not be necessary. Just install the CPS5 and remove the edge attitude , all the additional wiring just clutter up the engine bay, I don't now maybe you like wire loom.

CSP5 switch was not available when I got mine. And I like to change power settings on the fly so I kept my edge. Besides, you can't just use the screen with the Edge Juice with Att. Not like a CTS. At least that is what edge says.

I see, Just to clear things up don't practice power changing with 68RFE it will not like the level changes and shorten the life of unit, many have jump HP levels and roasted the trans in Miles.

The 68RFE must adopt and learn the increase HP or its BOOM, about 50 miles of mixed driving should work.

Regardless of HP provider set it at desired level upgrade your foot and leave it alone 68RFE. The 69 Aisin has its own TCM so it learns remarkably fast.. But still I don't recommend changing levels regularly on any 4GEN AT Trans.

Hasn't been an issue so far. Been beating on my full ATS Trans for about 6 yrs. Running close to 650 to the ground. It's hanging in there. ")
BTW. I have never ever allowed the dealer to reflash my pcm/tcm. I won't allow it. This truck has beaten the odds over and over again as far as trans life and how much power it can handle. But a lot of trucks got screwed up after going back to dealer over and over trying to fix the hard down shift problems and so on. I have an 05 liberty diesel as well that never went in for reflash and it has been flawless. So I think, due to personnel experience, that most of the problems these trucks have is caused by DC trying to fix little stuff. Ya there are some big things, but I have found that most of that can be handled by outside tuning.
