Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cummins ISC Turbo

Got a turbo from a Cummins ISC 8. 3, part#4955657RX looks like an HX40W, would it be possible to use on an ISB in my 99 CTD?

If so what modifications are required, looks like it bolts right up, worried about exhaust housing size and how much fuel would I need to push this turbo?

A lot, then it will blow up if you push it to hard. They were a decent low pressure low speed turbo but did not like it when you twisted to hard on them.

Look into the HE351VGT turbos off a 6. 7 or if you need more air, grab one of the HE451vgt's off an ISX.

Get a Fleece Performance controller to drive it.

It will take an extra 100-150hp over stock and unless it has a 16 housing you won't be happy with it
