Is your phone one of those "smart phones" that uses USB connection to your computer? If so, save the isb start tone as a mp3 file to your computer, then use ActiveSync (free download from MS) to place the tone on your sounds folder where all your other ring tones are stored on your phone. That is how I did it with my Audiovox SMT5600 phone from Cingular. I can provide more detailed instructions if needed, but your phone instruction manual should tell you how.

hey if anyone wants this tone, I'll SMS message it to you from that site on the first page. Just PM me your phone number, whose service you subscribe to, and your phone model. My phone gave me an option to install it when I clicked on the link in the text message.

Anyone know if this can work with a verizon phone... samsung a670?

Thanks,

Chris

yeah, just checked. It does. PM me your number and I'll send the ringtone to your phone from my account on matrixm.

Okay, I sent everyone the link and a confirmation PM or just a PM saying it wont work as it is, I'm trying to put it on my computer, recode it as an mp3 so that you samsung A670 guys can get it.

Right now, it will let me try to send it to you A670 people, then say it's not compatible with ''dead ringers''

Jeepmullet,

To save this: http://www.kb5bfa.com/isbstart.mp3 as a mp3 on your computer, after accessing it on the internet,

click on file, click on save page as. It should then appear as isbstart in a mp3 format. Chose a location you want it saved to.

At least that is how I did it. I put it in My Documents and then transfered it via ActiveSync to my sounds folder on my phone. Only thing is when I have the volume on loud and the phone rings, it makes people jump. :-laf
